Get your unique forwarding address and set up rules in Gmail, Outlook, or any email provider

Email Forwarding

Your StackTidy forwarding address works with any email provider. Forward subscription receipts there and they're processed automatically - no OAuth required.

Getting your address

  1. Tap your avatar (top-right corner)
  2. Open the Import section
  3. Your unique address is shown - tap Copy
Forward any subscription email to this address and it'll be processed within a few minutes.

Gmail setup

  1. Open Gmail → click the gear → See all settings
  2. Go to the Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab
  3. Click Add a forwarding address and paste your StackTidy address
  4. Gmail sends a confirmation - StackTidy processes it automatically
  5. Once confirmed, set the default action to forward to your StackTidy address
Tip: Use Gmail filters to forward only subscription-related emails. Create a filter matching keywords like "invoice", "receipt", "subscription" - then set the action to forward.

Outlook setup

  1. Open Outlook → Settings (gear icon)
  2. Navigate to MailForwarding
  3. Enable forwarding and paste your StackTidy address
  4. Save

Apple Mail / other providers

  1. Find your email app's Rules or Filters settings
  2. Create a rule matching keywords: invoice, receipt, subscription, renewal, payment
  3. Set the action to Forward to your StackTidy address
You can also manually forward individual receipts - paste your StackTidy address in the To field and send.

Testing your setup

  1. Forward a subscription receipt to your StackTidy address
  2. Check Your Brief on the Home tab within a few minutes
  3. A new whisper or review card should appear

Privacy

  • Email content is read by AI to extract subscription data, then discarded
  • Only the extracted data (vendor name, cost, billing cycle, date) is stored
  • You can use a new address at any time - tap "New address" in the Import section
