Departments
Departments let you group subscriptions by team (e.g. Engineering, Marketing, Design) and designate a head for each department. Available on the Team plan.
Creating a department
- Go to Settings → Team
- Scroll to the Departments section
- Tap Add Department
- Enter the department name
- Optionally assign a department head from your team members
- Tap Save
Assigning a department head
Each department can have one head. The department head receives:
- Renewal notifications when subscriptions in their department are about to renew (14, 7, 3, and 1 day reminders)
- Weekly digest emails every Monday at 9 AM UTC summarizing spend and renewals in their department
- Go to Settings → Team → Departments
- Tap the edit icon next to the department
- Select a team member as head
- Save
Assigning subscriptions to departments
One at a time:- Go to Radar and tap any subscription
- Tap Edit
- Select a department from the dropdown
- Save
- On the Radar tab, checkboxes appear next to each subscription on desktop
- Select the subscriptions you want to assign
- A floating bar appears at the bottom - choose a department and tap Apply
- Tap Select at the top of the Radar tab
- Tap subscriptions to select them
- Choose a department from the floating bar and tap Apply
- Tap Cancel to exit selection mode
Filtering by department
Once you have departments set up:
- Radar tab - department filter buttons appear next to the status filters (All / Issues / Healthy). Tap a department name to show only its subscriptions.
- Story tab - a department filter appears at the top. Filter the entire spending narrative by department.
