1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using StackTidy ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

StackTidy is a SaaS subscription management platform that helps businesses track software subscriptions, manage renewals, and optimize SaaS spend. The Service includes features such as subscription tracking, renewal reminders, team collaboration, and analytics.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to:

Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
Maintain and promptly update your account information
Maintain the security of your password and accept responsibility for all activities under your account
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

You must be at least 16 years old to use this Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

4.1 Free Trial

We offer a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required to start. At the end of the trial, you must subscribe to continue using premium features.

4.2 Paid Subscriptions

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as explicitly stated in these Terms.

4.3 Price Changes

We reserve the right to modify subscription prices. Any price changes will be communicated at least 30 days before taking effect and will apply at the next billing cycle.

4.4 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to paid features until then.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
Transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful data
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the Service without permission
Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications
Impersonate any person or entity

6. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by StackTidy and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of data you input into the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to use your data solely to provide and improve the Service.

7. User Data

You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of data you input into the Service. You represent that you have the right to share any data you provide to us.

We process your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

8. Third-Party Integrations

The Service may integrate with third-party services (e.g., email providers, payment processors). Your use of these integrations is subject to the respective third-party terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:

Scheduled maintenance (we will provide advance notice when possible)
Emergency maintenance or security updates
Factors beyond our reasonable control

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, OR COMPLETENESS OF CONTENT
NON-INFRINGEMENT
UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION

We do not warrant that the Service will meet your specific requirements or that any errors will be corrected.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STACKTIDY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

Loss of profits, revenue, or data
Business interruption
Cost of substitute services
Any damages arising from your use of the Service

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless StackTidy, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership, warranty disclaimers, indemnification, and limitations of liability.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Norway, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Norway.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and StackTidy regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
