Setting Up Reminders

Never miss a renewal deadline with StackTidy's notification system.

How Reminders Work

StackTidy notifies you through two channels:

Whispers (In-App)

• Appear in Your Brief on the Home tab
• "Slack renews in 5 days"
• Contextual and dismissible

Email Notifications

• Sent to your account email
• Configurable timing
• Include subscription details

Configuring Your Schedule

1. Tap your avatar > Settings
2. Go to the Notifications section
3. Select reminder days using the chip selector:

- 30 days: For annual contracts (negotiation time) - 14 days: Standard heads-up - 7 days: Final warning - 1 day: Last chance before charge

1. Toggle email reminders on/off
2. Save your preferences

Best Practices

• Use 30-day alerts for high-value annual contracts
• Enable email alerts for critical subscriptions
• The Renewal Timeline on Home gives you a visual heads-up for the next 30 days
• Whispers provide contextual reminders without overwhelming you
