Importing Subscriptions

StackTidy offers multiple ways to catch and import your subscriptions.

Email Import (Recommended)

The easiest way - connect your email and let your radar do the work.

Email Forwarding

  1. Tap your avatar > open Import
  2. Copy your unique StackTidy forwarding address
  3. In your email provider, set up a rule to forward subscription receipts
  4. Caught subscriptions appear as whispers in Your Brief

Outlook Connection

  1. Tap your avatar > open Import
  2. Tap Connect Outlook
  3. Sign in with your Microsoft account
  4. Grant the required permissions
  5. Detection starts immediately

CSV Import

Have a spreadsheet of your subscriptions? Import it directly:

  1. Go to Settings > Import > CSV Upload
  2. Download our template or use your own format
  3. Required columns: name, cost, billing_cycle, renewal_date
  4. Upload and map columns

Bank Statement Import

Upload a bank statement CSV for AI-powered detection:

  1. Go to Settings > Import > Bank Statement
  2. Upload your CSV file (Revolut supported, more banks coming)
  3. AI identifies recurring charges
  4. Review and confirm which to import

Manual Entry

For quick additions:

  1. Go to the Radar tab
  2. Tap the + button
  3. Fill in the details
  4. Tap Save

Tips

  • Connect your email first - most subscriptions get caught automatically
  • Export at least 3 months of bank transactions for best detection
  • Review caught subscriptions before confirming
