Notifications
StackTidy keeps you informed without being noisy, through multiple channels: whispers, email, Slack, and Microsoft Teams.
Whispers (In-App)
Whispers appear in Your Brief on the Home tab. They're contextual, one-line updates:

Each whisper can be dismissed. On the free tier, you see up to 3 per month.
Email Notifications
Configurable email alerts sent to your account email:
- Renewal reminders: 30, 14, 7, or 1 day before renewal
- Detection alerts: When new subscriptions are caught
- Overlap alerts: When AI finds redundant tools
Slack & Teams Integration
Get alerts where your team already works. Connect Slack or Microsoft Teams to receive notifications directly in your channels:
- Renewal reminders: Get notified before subscriptions renew
- New subscriptions detected: See when subscriptions are automatically caught
- Spending anomalies: Receive alerts about price changes
- Cancellation suggestions: Get notified about unused subscriptions
Setting up integrations:
- Go to Settings > Integrations
- Click Connect under Slack or Teams
- Follow the setup instructions to create a webhook
- Configure which notification types you want to receive
- Test the connection
You can add multiple integrations for different channels or teams. For detailed setup instructions, see the Slack & Teams Integration guide.
Configuring
- Tap your avatar > Settings
- Go to the Notifications section (for email settings)
- Or go to Integrations (for Slack/Teams)
- Toggle notification types on/off
- Select reminder day chips
- Save
